De Stijl Poster

My Final Project purpose was to design a poster that explains an art movement and designer that influenced this movement. I chose "De Stijl" because it is a stepping stone for many different art forms. The poster combines different types of De stijl in one, using the traditional colours and positioning. The Designer, Theo Van Doesburg, was built by De Stijl shapes and colours as well to blend into his own work.

This is an example of the art form "De Stijl". It is composed mostly of primary colours and dark lines. In other works you will find shapes and some different tones of these colours. De Stijl is also used in Furniture design as well as building design.
